I went and saw this movie last weekend with a friend of mine just because we couldn't really think of anything else to do and I ended up loving it! Reese Witherspoon has always been my favorite actress and she did a great job playing her role in this movie. This Means War is about two bestfriends, FDR and Tuck, both very attractive and both are spies. These two have been a team for quite a while and they know exactly how to get the job done because of this. They work together, go to family events together and even fight bad guys together. The only difference in these two men is that Tuck wants to fall in love and FDR is your typical "I want to get in your pants," kinda guy. Tuck sets up an account on an online dating service and ends up finding Lauren (Reese Witherspoon). They go out on a date and instantly click. FDR was down the street during their date to make sure that nothing bad happened to Tuck and ended up running into Lauren as she was picking up a movie to take home. FDR didn't realize that it was the same girl but when Tuck did, it was officially war. After both men were restricted to their desks instead of going out into the field, they became obsessed with stalking Lauren and doing anything to stop the other from getting her. Tuck even goes as far as using his son to attract Lauren to him. FDR uses his grandmother to hit Lauren with emotions. In the end, Lauren has to make a choice, an obviously hard choice. Because this movie is so new, I don't want to put the ending on here so I'll just leave it at, you need to go see this movie. It's definitely worth the trip!
I thought I hadn't heard of this movie, but now I vaguely remember a trailer about it! Reese Witherspoon is one of my favorite actresses as well, and this sounds like a very good movie. It seems funny, but with some action which is my kind of movie. I'll definitely have to check this one out!
ReplyDeleteWhen I first heard about this mnovie, I knew it was gonna be epic! First off, Reese Witherspoon is the greatest actress ever and anything with her in it, has always been good i.e; Sweet Home Alabama. This definitely looks like a movie i'll see and probably pay twice to see it once more.
ReplyDeletei just recently went and saw this movie just the other day. i was very impressed by it. for one Reese Witherspoon plays a lead charactor with is plenty of reason to watch a movie in the first place. but other that there was plenty of humor and action. Its just one of those movies you can pretty much turn your brain off and just enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI have always loved Reese Witherspoon in all her movies. Fear is one of my favorite ones that she plays in with Mark Wahlburg (dont know how to say last name) but ya it is really good. I have been wanting to watch this though and never havn't gotten around to it. I cant wait to see it though cause you make it sound really good.
ReplyDeleteI adore Resse Witherspoon ever since "Sweet Home Alabama", but I really like the sound of this movie! I have heard of just the name, but not what it's about and now I really want to get up right now and go see it, but also thats because I'm bored here at home haha! You do make this summary sound really good!
